How do I add a new menu category?

After logging in to the Tuli Admin Portal you can easily add a new menu category by following the steps or video guide below.

Step-by-Step

  1. On the left sidebar menu, click on "Restaurants" and then "List" to display the list of restaurants you control

  2. Click on the "Menu" button 

  3. Click on the green "Add New" on the right side of the screen or the "+" symbol at the bottom of the screen. 

  4. Type in the name of the new category. 

  5. If you want it the new category to be featured, check the "Is featured?" box.

  6. If you would like the new category to immediately be displayed for customers, check the "Is published?" box. Note: Only items listed under "published" categories will be seen by customers on the Tuli app.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Your new category shows up in the list of available categories so that you can add new items. If you checked the "Is Published?" box, your new category will be visible the Tuli app.
